One of only two ready-to-drive Aston Martin DB10s recently sold at auction in London for $3.5 million.
The DB10 in question was one of the two models Aston Martin built and used as show cars for the latest James Bond movie “Spectre,” with one appearing at the London red-carpet screening. However, this is the only DB10 that will ever be offered to the public. Aston Martin actually built 10 DB10s, but eight were modified for the specific needs of the movie.
As far as cars go, the DB10 isn’t the greatest example Aston Martin has ever built. It may bang, clang, and rattle a bit because it is a quickly constructed prototype, but the power from the V8 and direct steering make the special Aston Martin drive like a completely developed sports car.
All of the proceeds from the sale will benefit Doctors Without Borders..
