A concept first introduced in a 146-inch variant entitled Wall TV at CES 2018. Samsung introduced its luxury version of The Wall, the ground-breaking Micro LED, large-format modular display back at CES 2019.
SAMSUNG MICROLED IS MODULAR, SO YOU CAN CHANGE ITS SIZE AND RESOLUTION
Samsung’s MicroLED technology is modular, meaning it can be configured for different sizes and resolutions. These modules clip together like Lego. However, while you can increase the resolution of the total TV, you can’t increase the resolution of its individual modules. You can only add more pixels using more modules.
The Wall Luxury is modular and customizable to a variety of sizes and ratios from 73” in 2K definition, to 292” in 8K definition. With a depth less than 30mm, the slim, bezel-less infinity design along with customizable décor frames allows the display to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, ensuring no disruption to the desired ambience of its environment
GO BIG OR GO HOME
The Wall is a new generation of display technology delivering a truly exclusive experience. Unparalleled in its visuals and designed to refine, the bespoke build gives any space an awe-inspiring edge. Inspired by emotion. Powered by intelligence. A bold statement, but one that blends in perfectly.
The fusion of an exceptionally black base with specialized Black Seal Technology, delivers pure black levels for unparalleled contrast and immaculate detail. This technology also protects the screen from impact and dust, even at close proximity.
The Wall’s Ultra Chroma Technology produces vibrant, yet natural colors for a true-to-life visual experience. A narrower wavelength of color results in higher color purity, approximately two times better than conventional LEDs, for more precise and accurate color presentation.
Boosting the industry-leading picture quality engine, The Wall utilizes advanced HDR picture refinement technologies – LED HDR, HDR10+ support and Multi-link HDR – to render optimum peak brightness and contrast in every single scene for precise, true-to-life imagery.
The Wall seamlessly blends into its surroundings with a slim, bezel-less design. Furthermore, The Wall’s frame features a refined, subtle-but-sleek finish that can be customized to reflect the design elements of any room.
The Wall Luxury is available worldwide with street pricing around $20,000 per module as of this writing, but let’s be honest — if you need to ask, you’re probably not the target audience for this behemoth.
